At CMC, we serve customers and partners with integrity, honesty, and transparency. This Code of Conduct sets expectations for everyone connected with CMC—employees, contractors, and third parties—to follow ethical standards and laws.
We follow all local and international laws. When there’s no clear rule, we expect people to act ethically and ask for help if unsure. Corruption, bribery and disrespect are not tolerated under any circumstances.
Bribery in any form is banned. You must not offer, accept, or ask for gifts, money, or favors to influence decisions. This includes giving anything of value or intended to influence. Violating this can lead to serious consequences, including termination of employment or contractual relations
Giving or receiving promotional items, meals, or education must follow legal and company rules. We have an approval process for these types of things so please use it.
You must not let personal relationships or outside interests affect your work. If there’s a potential conflict, report it to HR or your manager and fill out the required form every year.
We deal fairly with customers, suppliers, and partners. Misleading or dishonest behavior is not acceptable. We expect our business partners to act the same and will ask you to self-certify every year. We may audit our partners from time to time.
Keep company property and confidential data safe. Never share sensitive information without approval, especially personal information.
If you see or suspect a violation, speak up. You can report confidentially to Compliance@CMC.com or ask questions during training. No retaliation will happen for honest reporting.
CMC checks its own compliance regularly and investigates all reports fully. Action will be taken where needed.
